  • Pantai Lima Beach

    Bordering the villa’s garden, this quiet rugged beach is known for its dark sand and scenic views. It is extraordinarily clean thanks to the villa’s full-time staff who set out with plastic bags in hand each morning to keep it so. Although not safe for swimming, it offers fun beach breaks for experienced surfers at the Pantai Lima river mouth.

  • Tanah Lot

    The dramatic and venerated sea temple of Tanah Lot (9.8km) is perched on a craggy wave-lashed rock just at the edge of the frothing white surf and glistening black shoreline. Dedicated to the sea spirits, it is probably the most photographed sight in Bali, especially in the late afternoon when its splendid profile is silhouetted against the setting sun.

  • Kintamani

    Take a daytrip to Kintamani (56km) to see one of Bali’s most photographed volcanoes. Here, you can enjoy locally harvested coffee or an Indonesian buffet lunch while marvelling at the spectacular views of Mt Batur and the crescent-shaped Lake Batur, set within the gigantic caldera of an extinct volcano. Mt Batur is Bali’s second most sacred mountain after Mt Agung.
